Legal Manager

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company\'s business, products, markets, customers and partners in order to identify trends and formulate effective contractual negotiation strategies;
  • Provide general advice and support to senior management and all business teams on best practices for risk mitigation
  • Advise on and oversee handling of disputes and litigation matters, including retaining and instructing outside counsel
  • Leading the legal function in drafting and negotiations of commercial undertakings, which may include: sales, tender, outsourcing services agreements as well as various agreements;
  • Leading the legal function in its corporate compliance requirements, including providing practical, strategic and pragmatic advice to the senior management
  • Performing due diligence and advising on the integration of acquisition targets;
  • Supporting the Marketing function, when required, to review marketing/advertising materials and provide brand management support, including intellectual property support;
  • Supporting the HR function in drafting and applying innovative and rewarding employee policies, as well as providing strategic advice on employment related matters

Requirements:

  •  Passed Bar Exam 
  • A bachelor\'s degree from a recognized law school. 
  • 5 to 8 years\' legal experience in-house or in private practice
