4.    Key Accountabilities

  • Project Management
    • Provide proposal based on sales team / distributor request, including working with distributors in terms of pricing and product support on a timely basis.
    • Tracking of projects from quotation, through to the stages from Proposal Generation to the endorsed Contracts Signed. 
      Target is a minimum of 30% conversion from proposal to contract endorsement. This will also include prompt checking of orders’ pricing and preparation of sales contracts.
    • Work and liaise with Order Management Team to check on stocks availability and possible arrangement of delivery for mock-ups or samples requisitions. Target is established through project milestones and schedules.
    • Provide regular updates to sales teams / distributors on the active projects for the year. Target is having a rolling 3 months report on a monthly basis using the relevant tools and SAP CRM module.
    • Work and liaise with Germany for any Special Manufactured Orders (SMO) applications to ensure timely production and delivery of products in meeting project timelines.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Sourced and identified leads through BCI Asia or BCA as requested by sales team / distributors.
    • Update leads info or projects info into the pipeline database based as-and-when sales/distributors have qualified the leads.
    • Consolidate and report pipeline for APAC and track conversion from leads to project management for management on a monthly basis.

5. Reporting

  • Submission of reports (Project KPIs and Top Projects) over updates on project developments and sales trends.
  • Submission of Project KPI dashboards on a monthly basis to HQ and Sales for review.
  • Support HQ/Management/Finance (Business Control & Analyst team) for Ad-hoc reports on project development.
  •  Regularly update account / project status to Country Manager & Regional Manager


1. Education and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. A Master’s Degree would be preferred
  • Good command of English, Chinese
  • Proficient in MS office
  • With vision developing a long term and challenging career

2. Experience:

  • 3 years working experience in selling building materials or related product, but not mandatory
  • Sales experience in dealing with architects, designer, consultants, contractors or any of the like in construction industry is an advantage
  • 3 years exposure to building and construction industry or related service management industry, i.e. IDs, Architect, etc.
  • Proven experience in managing internationally operating project accounts and/or consumer durables
  • Sound strategic planning and regional business development experience required for the role.

3. Work skills & aptitude:

  • Strong inter-personal communication skill, and a team player
  • Strong process orientation; must be logical and analytical.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Project or equivalent project scheduling tools.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
