Job Responsibilities

In charge of the profit & loss of the stores including setting and monitoring sales budget, expenses control, gross and net margin target. Develop & deliver Business Plan guided by Operations Director and company strategies that drives productivity improvement, customer services and revenue growth.
Set sales targets for stores based on budget stated in business plan on yearly and monthly basis. Secure all stores drive store KPIs, drive top line sales and budgets and secure targets for other KPIs are delivered (Sales, Margin, Cost, Profit, Attrition, ATV, Efficiencies), work with shop managers and support functions to secure relevant training and support is in place for all store teams. Prepare sales forecasts analyses to plan strategies to achieve sales target, maximize sales opportunities and strengthen the brand. Secure cost control and profitability within region, includes new market openings. Particularly focusing on headcounts control and action planning for any loss making or declining stores.
Monitor and analyze market trends and evaluate competitive challenges and identify opportunities for growth. Effectively use consumer insights and market information to set priorities targets.
Set and Manage head counts & structure within new market region securing stability and tight controls, reducing attrition and building morale. Build succession and growth plans to ensure standards continue to improve and expansion goals are met. Identify and develop future Area Managers and personal successor.
Work with corporate VM and VM manager to set VM standards across region and ensure VM guidelines are implemented effectively.
Coordinate maintenance in conjunction with Store Development team to secure that store standards are maintained and the customer environment remains in line with brand expectations. Including focus on issue within meetings.
Conduct store visit in a consistent manner in order to formulate and interpret operation strategies on enhancing the brand image and smoothing daily operations across all new market. Ensure all employees adhere to the Health & Safety environment policy

 

Requirements

Minimum 8 years management experience, area management or above 
Hands-on experience fashion, fast moving fashion preferred
International experience advantageous
Experience of managing multiple stores and handling new stores opening in new market
Good grasp of visual merchandize and fashion 
People orientated with proven experience of developing and motivating large teams, believes in building respect, trust and pride
Strong communication skills with people of all levels, written and spoken
Possess great initiative, a customer-oriented attitude and a business mindset
Good command in written and spoken English, Putonghua and Chinese
At least 50% of time on travelling with strong focus on store visits
